FR: Melon Party

Report:

I knew I would have a hard time at this party, because I got substantially high beforehand. Honestly, I was looking down at the world underneath my feet. Lime Haze is powerful. But either way, I couldn’t just sit and relax even though I wanted too. I have turned myself into a game machine, and I can’t stop my body from throwing me into sets at this point. My game was off for the most part because of this paradox, and yet the report goes as follows.

Returning to KingMelons house from downtown Boston at around 9, the party began. No one was really there at first, so I got into a heated game of ping pong downstairs with a couple friends. Then people began to file in. At first, they were all people from my school that I knew, so I wasn’t too stoaked, but I knew I could still have fun. I went upstairs to talk to KingMelon, then when I went back down An HB9 who I hadn’t talked to in three years but I used to be friends with was in the doorway. She stopped me and we began to chat.

She brought up callback humor. The name I used to call her, fetus, made me laugh and we talked for a little before she said that the conversation was a little awkward. I asked her why, and she pointed at this girl next to her who was laughing. I actually hadn’t seen her until she pointed her out. Lol talk about tunnel vision. She was an HB2 at the most who I guess was laughing while I was trying to mack. Anyway I looked at her puzzled, and ejected because I wanted to get some beer.

Later I went back to talk to her by walking up next to her and talking to EB, who was on her other side. I struck up a conversation with her, but by the time I turned around my target had left… FUCK. I had time but I was waiting for a cue or something that never came. I need to take more initiative game wise.

Next my friend YP arrived, and he had a HB9+ from his school on his side. I asked if he was going for her and he was. Upsetting, but I understood. I AI’d YP with the girl and went off into some set of my friends for random conversation.

Finally new girls came, and I was pulled into set with them by Tallz. He AI’d me and I began to talk, but my game was so off I couldn’t keep a convo going with these girls. There was nothing particularly attractive about them, but I decided to try to run Best Friends Test anyway to see if it would work. It absolutely bombed, proving even more to me that game isn’t about what you say it’s about your attitude and the frame you put out. Good mental side note. Since they weren’t responding I just ejected.

I chilled with friends for a while until another new set of girls came. In the party area, they walked in and positioned themselves against the wall. They were alright, but sitting and watching the chode crystal slowly form from across the room was interesting enough for me to not approach yet. RM who is pretty competent approached first, and then hordes followed. They were peering over each others shoulders at the girls while he gamed, and I was explaining the chodes loss of value from bad BL to a friend sitting next to me. He could see it happening as well.

After RM rolled out, the chode stalactite fell apart and the girls were by themselves. I begin to make eye contact with one of them, and she is receptive. We hold each others gaze for about four seconds before she looks away. Again, I felt like I would blow it, but I approached anyway. I walk up to the girl who made eye contact and said “hi”. I introduced myself to her and her friends and we talked for a little until she became completely non-responsive and said “I’m so high right now”. I laughed and back turned her because I legitimately fail at plowing under the influence, it’s kind of sad but at least I know my SP’s vary based on states of consciousness.

Some time goes by and I go upstairs because new people are arriving again. I spot SM and give her a hug. We get into a conversation about her fight with YP and I tell her that if he asks I think she’s a man eating bitch. It creates a sexual tension barrier between us that I know will make things flirty for the night. She introduces me to some cute friends of hers, strolling me in on my arm. I talk to the group and all of them begin to ask questions about me, and I am finally in state. It took three failed sets but it happened, even under the influence. I didn’t think it was possible. The problem is that my state is situational, it needs to be from within. I still have inner game issues to work on.

Anyway, I leave SM’s set to give YP some consolation. I tell him she’s the devil, he happens to be in a mixed 6 set, with 3 girls (an HB4, and two HB9’s). I begin to talk to the set as a whole and they are loving me. We talk about the usual shit, then I notice the cuter HB9 is giving me shit tests. I look at her and roll my eyes then continue talking to one of the guys. Reds walked out of the house behind me and I gave her a hug for pre-selection. Then I negged the target in group for making a loud pointless comment and her group laughed. After that she started giving me IOI’s like a free candy. She was asking me where I was from, who I was, and the typical boring stuff. I ignored half her questions to talk to the group, then I told her I was Russian and she kept saying Russian phrases to try to get my attention. When she said I love you I looked and said aww. I asked her for her name which I now forgot and was about to sit next to her and ask her a small qualification hoop question when she had to go…

Didn’t really get to take that interaction anywhere but before she left I called her a dork and she responded with “that’s rude” smiling. I rolled my eyes once again and her set along with SM and the rest of the girls left. Interesting night.

SP / Thoughts:

1) Negging works like a fucking charm, I tease normally, but her interest here spiked so fast it was ridiculous
2) I need to have a sold structure to my game. Winging it doesn’t really get me the results I want
3) Struggling with inner game issues
4) Need to learn how to AI wings better
5) Stop ejecting out of set when things are going fine
6) Gaming high makes me have to relearn the basics, I should try to stay sober or tips
