Thursday:
I feel it
all coming back to me. It's like muscle memory or something. The progress I’m
making is quicker than the time it took to first learn it. Once a pua… lol.
Anyway Friday night went like this.
I met up
with Flow at his place. We hopped in a cab and went to the Tavern, the venue
where we spent Thursday sarging. We walked in the venue and began running set
after set. I can’t recount all of them, but I’ll note a few that come to mind.
I walked into the main area of the bar and went into a mixed set with two girls
and a guy. I started talking to one of the girls for a bit. Things were going
well, the set hooked and I was getting laughs. She seemed into it, I opened
direct and it worked fairly well. I was trying
to make her laugh and DHV etc. I stayed in set for about 10 minutes until I asked her what
her stripper name was. In this situation that was a push to far. She left
uncomfortably. I should have calibrated to her comfort level better, but it’s
hard to make a conversation sexual when things that small make a girl
uncomfortable. It’s something I have to account for.
I opened a
two set of girls as my first approach. One of the girls was actually pretty
cute, and it probably seemed obvious that I was targeting her. I was talking to
her and her friend and things were going smoothly until a guy walked up and
sort of grabbed the girl I was talking to. He started hugging her and pulling
her close to him in a way that seemed like he was a friend of hers trying to
amog me, not a boyfriend. This is an extremely potent amog technique because I can’t really do
shit when I’m standing there trying to counter him touching her. I mean I just
took the blow out and left. I tried to befriend him but it would have been
awkward for me to keep looking at them and shit so it was hopeless.
Flow and I
met up and tried to do sets together. I opened a 4 set of girls and Flow went
in to wing a minute after. Things were going well until the
conversation seemed to stall out with the girl I opened. She was acting bored until she left to go to the bathroom, leaving Flow and I with the other
3. I tried to transition into a conversation with another member of the group,
but that couldn’t hook and they all left. This was sort a recurring element in the
sets we did all night. The girls we opened kept running away a bit after we
hooked, we just couldn’t keep interest. This is a SP I need to break through
clearly. I’m going to try adding more chick crack, or lovable asshole stuff
from Gambler. That stuff always killed it for me in the past.
Flow opened
a set of some very attractive girls in the back of the bar at one point. I went
up to wing only to overhear an AMOG walking in to blow Flow out. He was scary
looking and told Flow “they aren’t interested”. He looked mortified and we
discussed how to combat that after. We decided to disqualify ourselves from the
amog/group with something like “don’t worry I’m gay”, which could counter amogging
solidly. I actually incorporated that into one of Friday night’s sets and it
seemed to work well. More on that in a bit.
I opened
another set in the Tavern that just wouldn’t hook. I was really trying to hook
this one and didn’t want to eject from any of the sets all night to get as much
experience as possible from them. I walked up to a two set of girls and opened the blonde one telling her she reminded me of a Swedish girl. Her Asian
friend immediately hugged her and they were pivoting around while I was trying
to hook. They kept shit testing me. They blonde told me the Asian girl was from
the Philippines and I said I speak a little Chinese, and then she called me
racist, which I assume was a shit test. I tried to ignore it but the eventually
pivoted into a larger group and I was locked out. I don’t know how to interact
with girls when you try to talk to them and they start hugging and looking
scared. This is something to mess with though, because girls seem to do it all
the time.
Though I
know I did at least 5 more sets, the memories of them are hazy, but I remember
most of them went the same. I hooked for a bit until they got bored and ran
away. I need to be more interesting to keep their attention. Next time I will
throw in more chick crack and try to break rapport. Going with the conversation in a
group creates no tension and things kept stalling out.
Later Flow
and I were outside the venue looking for sets to open outside, where things
were less hectic. Flow spotted a two set seated on a bench and I went to open.
I tried to open with a technique I’ve been using back home that has been working
decently well. Basically I walk into the set super high energy and say some
shit like “WHATS UPPPPP”. I opened with that and they started giggling. After
some shit testing they seemed into talking to me. I passed their tests well
enough that when Flow came in they were hooked with both of us. We got them
talking about their lives and interests, and got into a group conversation. I
kept trying to break it up so that Flow was able to isolate one girl and I was
able to focus on the other, but every time I tried it continued as a group
conversation. Flow and I agreed to make sure we break it up more obviously next
time we get into a solid 2 set. Flow number closed one of the girls and I was
trying to pull to an “afterparty” at Flows place since I am leaving town
tomorrow and won’t have time for any day twos. The girls declined, but we still
learned a lot from the set over all.
Friday:
I met up
with Flow, Blader, and Kingmelons was with us. He doesn’t game anymore so he’s
not listed as a wing, but an honorable mention nonetheless. We waded through
two houseparties with terrible ratios before we said fuck it and went out to
the bars. The first place that we gamed was Whiskeys.
We walked
in and did a quick loop, not really seeing any talent. The horrible ratio
seemed to be following us around like a black cloud. I opened a 5 set I think
with 4 girls in it. I opened naturally with hey whats up or something. Things
went well but the conversation began stalling out once again. Flow showed up
with Blader and I tried to pull them in, but they were in a corner so it was
not going to be possible to get all of us into the conversation. After some
hard stalling out we ejected or got blown out I’m not sure. I am unsure of what
happened exactly. We decided to hit up the Minibar since we couldn’t get into
Storyville because we were dressed to casual.
On the way
to Minibar a group of girls was walking quicker than us. I turned around and
said there’s four of you and four of us omg its destiny. A short girl in the
group was not having it and she resisted everything I said. I tried to tell her
that I was harmless jokingly but that made her more upset I think. Blader was
actually doing decently with the back two but once we got to minibar they
weren’t waiting up for us and scurried away. Perhaps I should commit more to
moving sets instead of just giving up, or maybe find a new tactic for changing
girls frames who are not receptive.
Minibar was
cool but dead. Blader opened a 4 set of all girls sitting at a booth. I walked
up with Flow trying to wing but we ended up just standing there since there
were no seats, and I decided we were doing more harm then good. So I didn’t do
any more approaches there even though I should have. I ended up just
bullshitting with KingMelonz.
We wandered
to Clery’s and once again there was a horrid amount of guys. It just wasn’t our
night I guess. However, a good pua should be able to prevail even with bad
logistics. I remember finding nothing until we went to the basement, where Flow
approached a 2 set of girls. I walked in to wing shortly afterward. They seemed
bored or upset, I don’t really know why but their energy was low. I have to
learn how to change a girl’s frame/pull her into mine again, I used to kill at
that. An amog walked in and asked one of the seated girls how many guys had
come up to them that night. He said it was funny to see how much they were
getting hit on. I turned to him and disqualified myself using the “its ok I’m
gay line”. That actually worked splendidly, he got blown out and left.
Unfortunately while I was dealing with the amog, friends of the two girls Flow
opened came and pulled them away. Dealing with the friend distraction is
something I have to work on.
The last
set of the night was pretty much going to fail no matter what, but at least it
was funny. I walked up to four girls hailing a taxi outside Clery’s, and told
them they were cute. One of the girls immediately looked at me and asked if I
was 12. I said no I’m 11. Then she said I don’t like 11 year olds and walked
with her friends down the street. Blader came in to try and salvage it but
there was no saving this lol. Maybe In cases like this making a shit test more
ridiculous is not the way to go. I’ll try ignoring this question and changing
the subject next time.
Thoughts/SP:
- 1 I have to remember how to pull a girl into my
frame to change her emotional state. This will allow me to pull easier by
bringing them into a better mentality

2 I need to ignore shit tests that are really
obvious on some occasions, intensifying in this case plays into their frame

3 Throwing in more chick crack and playful asshole
Gambler material will make the conversation stay interesting, things have been
stalling out to easily.

5 I need to learn to control the friends coming in
to pull people away. Maybe being more interesting will help take care of that
